Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Potentia, a product operated by SIA "Horizon Grid", registration no. 40203602016, registered address Marijas iela 18A-10, Riga, LV-1011, Latvia. By using Potentia, whether as a requester or as a subject connecting your own data, you agree to these Terms.

Private preview

Potentia is currently in private preview, not a generally available public product. Access may be limited, changed, or withdrawn at any time.

Consent-only data use

Requesters may only send consent requests to real subjects who are expected to see and agree to the request themselves. Attempting to use Potentia to analyze a third party's data without their consent is a violation of these Terms.

Third-party platforms

Potentia is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), GitHub, X Corp, Crunchbase, or Google, and using Potentia does not create any relationship between you and those platforms. Where a subject supplies a URL on one of these platforms, our servers make a limited, best-effort request to read that specific page on the subject's own behalf, under the subject's own consent — this is never guaranteed to succeed, may be rate-limited or blocked by the platform at any time without notice, and carries no warranty as to availability, accuracy, or completeness (see our Disclaimer). You remain responsible for your own compliance with the terms of service of any third-party platform where you hold an account, independently of your use of Potentia.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Latvian and EU law, SIA "Horizon Grid"'s total liability arising out of or relating to Potentia is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or loss of profits or data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SIA "Horizon Grid" harmless from claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms — including sending a consent request without a genuine intention for the named subject to see and decide on it themselves, misrepresenting your authority to request data about someone, or submitting data, files, or URLs you do not have the right to submit.

Scores are decision support, not a decision

The Growth Readiness Score and its sub-scores are intended to help prioritize diligence time. They do not determine funding, employment, or partnership outcomes on their own, and should not be treated as a sole or automated basis for such decisions.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Latvia.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
